At Adams & Page we have always specialized in the supply and fitting of commercial lorry tyres, from split rims, horse boxes, 7.5 ton to 44 ton euro trailers.

We are one of the only tyre depots in High Wycombe and surrounding areas that provides a drive in drive out policy  and with a nice big yard to operate in.

We have 24 hrs 7 days a week national breakdown service available via NTDA Tyrelink (for account customers only). we also have a mobile van for local onsite services.

Examples of how to understand your tyre size

No: 1 - 10 r 22.5

10 = the section width
R = radial construction
22.5 = the tyre diameter

No: 2 - 315- 80 r 22.5

315 = the section width
80 = low profile tyre sidewall height 80 % of the section width
R = radial
22.5 = tyre diameter

Load index & speed rating markings give you a numerical code which allows you to know the maximum load the tyre can carry and a speed rating letter giving you the maximum speed the tyre can travel at, it is essential to make sure you have the correct tyres fitted for your lorry.

Example - 112/110 M

112 = load index for single axle
110 = load index for twin axle
M  = speed limit

Most commercial tyres can be reproved, this can normally be identified if you have regroovable written on the sidewall of the tyre, regrooving can be a very cost effective way of maximizing the life of the tyre, however caution needs to be advised and  to make sure there are no other detrimental defects in the tyre or  that it has not deteriorated with age. It is essential to book your lorry in for this service.

Commercial puncture repairs must be repaired to a very high standard external plugs or sealants are no longer acceptable and none of the tyre manufacturers accept any responsibility for any problems arising from their use, the tyre must be fully examined inside and out for any defects by a qualified technician. If your tyre meets these requirements,  We will always provide you with a quality safe repair.

Waste disposal is a major problem and we fully support the correct method in disposal only using licensed waste carriers, making sure that all scrap tyres are sensibly recycled or safely disposed of.
